I was not certain where to put the info on the radio installation and decided that it was close enough to "electrical" to put it here.  Here is the 19 set as I initially installed it in the jeep.

While I got the antenna base and the antenna, I was not able to find an appropriate mount.  Consequently I decided to build one.  Here is the cardboard and duct tape template.

I then started cutting some scrap metal that I had to make the mount ( Anyone know what it is?)  Give up?  It's a divider for a file cabinet drawer.  Pretty hefty gauge and the right size.  Never throw anything away!!!!

Hole saw didn't cut what I wanted so I had to use my jig saw to make it bigger.

After I got the final install done, I thought I would like to have a cover of some kind.  My wife was nice enough to take the time to make a canvas cover (a radio cozy?) for it.

Complete with snaps, it can be rolled up or snapped in the down position.  I know it's not NOS, but I want some way to keep inquisitive fingers from flipping switches.
