Now that I had a jeep it was simply logical to get a trailer to go with it (at least that's how I explained it to my wife).  Again I searched high and low around the country and there was nothing that was in reasonable shape in my price range.  Again it turned out that a trailer turned up in my own back yard, literally.  Next door to my place is an auction house which lists their auction items on the web.  Imagine my surprise when I opened a listing for a utility trailer and saw this 3/4 ton 1952 M101 beauty.  I went to auction and after a handful of bids it was mine for $400.  I know its not a jeep trailer but I figured I could do a good trade with it.
Not long after, a club member bought an engine for his 3/4 ton truck.  The same place had a 1/4 trailer and I got a call asking if I wanted it (after it was used to move the engine home). After being assured it was all there I agreed.  $500 got me this 1/4 ton trailer which is complete, except for a proper wiring harness and a few dents and dings.  One funny thing is that some previous owner (who I assume was upset that it collected water) used a pick or something to bash two holes in the floor - right next the the drain plugs which still work!!!  Oh well nothing a little welding can't fix.  Of course since I didn't need to trade the 3/4 ton trailer for the jeep trailer I will now have to get an M37 or bigger to go with it (haven't explained THAT logic to my wife yet).
